Following an sweet and amusing panel where the cast and director united virtually, joined bu some very special guests and plenty of fans, the much anticipated (final?) trailer was revealed for ‘Wonder Woman 1984’.
The trailer itself was epic in scale, packed full of action, romance and bright colours, which is exactly what I am expecting and hoping for from the actual film.
We get more looks at Pedro Pascal as Max Lord, looks at young Diana on Themyscira, more interactions between Diana and a returned Steve, and a much bigger focus on Kristen Wiig’s Barbara Minerva (aka Cheetah).
I love Kristen Wiig as an actress but I’m still not quite buying her in this role and the appearance of Cheetah didn’t look right to me, but I’ll reserve judgement until the final film.
Apart from that, I think this looks absolutely spectacular and I cannot wait to see the perfectly cast Gal Gadot reprise her lead role and save the world in the 1980s!
